1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the Her Ruby platform, website, and mobile applications (the “Service”), operated by Lael Ventures (“we,” “us,” or “our”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

2. Eligibility

The Service is intended for individuals aged 18 and older. Certain features, including the Ruby Circle community, require identity verification to ensure a safe and trusted environment.

3. Account Registration

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration and to keep your account information updated.

4. Wellness Credits and Payments

• Wellness credits can be purchased directly or received as gifts
• 1 credit equals $20 CAD of wellness value
• Credits never expire
• Credits are non-refundable once redeemed
• Unused, unredeemed gift credits may be refunded within 30 days of purchase
• All payments are processed securely via Stripe

5. Use of the Service

You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You agree not to:

• Use the Service in any way that violates applicable laws or regulations
• Impersonate any person or misrepresent your identity
• Share your account or verification credentials with others
• Engage in harassment, abuse, or harmful behaviour within community spaces
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Service

6. Health Disclaimer

The Service provides wellness information, community support, and guided programmes. It is not a substitute for professional medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Always consult a qualified healthcare provider with any questions regarding a medical condition.

7. Intellectual Property

All content, branding, and technology within the Service are the property of Lael Ventures or its licensors. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without our written consent.

8. Privacy

Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which describes how we collect, use, and protect your personal information in compliance with PIPEDA.

9. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at our discretion if you violate these Terms. You may deactivate your account at any time by contacting us.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Lael Ventures shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein.

12. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
